HOW TO MAKE SWEET CORN PAKODA

Ingredients for Corn Pakoda
- Sweet Corn 2 Cups
- Onion 3/4 cups chopped
- Besan 2 Cups
- Rice Flour 3 Tbsp
- Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
- Chat Masala
- Garlic Lasoon Paste
- Fennel or Saunf 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp
- Hing Powder 1 pinch
- Jeera Powder 1 Tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil as per requirement
- Bowl
- Kadai
- Spoon
Preparation of Sweet Corn Pakoda
- Boil sweet corn in cooker with 2-3 whistles.
- Then take a big bowl and put the sweet corn and add onion and salt and keep it for 5-10 minutes.
- After 5-10 minutes add besan, rice flor chilli powder, turmeric powder, Hing powder, saunf powder, jeera powder, chat masala, garlic lasoon paste and water as per requirement and mix it properly.
- Batter should be smooth and not very hard.
- Cover it for 10-15 minutes.
Making of Sweet Corn Pakoda
- Now keep kadai on the gas with oil in it for heating in medium flame.
- After oil gets heated make small/medium size balls of the batter and put the same in the oil for deep frying. No of balls to be put at a time for deep frying depends on the type of kadai used.
- After the pakoda get good deep frying the same will turn into brown or dark brown colour
- Now take it out from kadai and drain them well and keep it on tissue papers for excess draining.
- Continue the frying procedure with the rest of the dough.
