HOW TO MAKE SALTED MOONG DAL

Ingredients for making Salted Moong Dal

  1. Yellow moong dal or yellow gram 2 cups
  2. Salt as per requirement.
  3. Oil for frying
  4. Strainer
  5. Kadai
  6. Tissue papers
  7. Muslin cloth
  8. Water as per requirement.

Preparation and making of Salted Moong Dal

  1. Soak moong dal in water for 1-1/2 hours.
  2. After the time drain the moong dal and keep it on muslin cloth and cover it with another muslin cloth and make the monng dal dry.
  3. Now keep the kadai on the gas with oil in it for heating.
  4. After oil gets heated put stainer in the kadai. Don't put the strainer in the kadai and hold it.
  5. Now put the dried moong dal on the strainer and fry the same in the oil. Colour of moong dal should not change.
  6. After frying the moong dal put the fried moong dal on the tissue paper for draining the oil. Put another tissue paper on the moong dal for covering and draining the excess oil.
  7. Now sprinkle the salt on the moong dal and toss it up nicely.
SALTED MOONG DAL is ready. Now keep the salted moong dal in airtight container and enjoy the snacks.
