Before Preparation of Sabudana Vada

- Chop green chillies in to small pieces.
- Finely chop coriander leaves.

- After sabudana gets well soaked, mix smashed potatoes, peanuts, coriander leaves, chopped chillies, and chili powder and salt as per taste with the soaked sabudana in a bowl.
- Grind peanuts in mixer for making chutney.
Preparation of Sabudana Vada
- Keep kadai on the gas with oil in it in medium flame for heating.
- Add Cumin seeds for checking whether oil is sufficiently heated.
- After cumin seeds start spluttering it is the sign that oil is sufficiently heated.
- Now add the prepared batter in the heated oil with washed hands or with the help of big spoon.
- Meanwhile the batter in the oil is deep frying, prepare peanut chutney by adding chili powder, salt and curd with the grind peanuts in a separate bowl.
- Now turn the batter in the oil, with the help of spoon or fork, to other side when batter turns brown in colour. Do not deep fry much as the taste of vada will get spoiled due to excess deep fry.
- After deep frying the batter from both sides, drain the prepared vada for excess oil and initially put the vada on tissue paper so that remaining excess oil will be soaked in the tissue paper.
- Hot and crispy Sabudana Vada is ready with peanuts chutney.
