Sev Puri is a very tasty and delicious snacks eaten from hotel to roadside thelas. 

Ingredients for making Sev Puri

  • Small size puris 32-35 nos or as per requirement
  • 1-1/2 size big potatoes or 3 medium size potatoes
  • Water as per requirement
  • Puffed Rice or murmura 2 cups
  • Barik Sev 3/4 cups
  • Chili Powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Green Chillies 2-3
  • Big Tomato 1
  • Roasted peanuts 1 tbsp
  • Big onion 1
  • Namkeen Bundi
  • Dahi or yogurt 1 cup
  • Roasted chana dal
  • Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  • Big lemon 1 or 1/2-3/4 tbsp lemon juice
  • Tamarind Chutney 2-3 tsp
  • Green coriander chutney 2-3 tsp
  • Chat Masala Powder 2-3 tsp
  • Big Bowl
  • 1 Big spoon

Preparation of Sev Puri

  1. Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker.
  2. Peel the boiled potatoes
  3. Smash peeled potatoes.
  4. Cut onion into small pieces
  5. Chop green chilies in to small pieces.
  6. Cut tomato into small pieces.
  7. Cut coriander leaves.
  8. Now take a big bowl and put smashed boiled potatoes, puffed rice, add barik sev, chopped green chillies, diced tomato, roasted peanuts, finely chopped onion, namkeen bundi, roasted chana dal and mix it properly with the help of big spoon.
  9. Now 
  10. Now the material have mixed well and now the time to add chutneys. So add chat masala powder, tamarind chutney, green coriander chutney, lemon juice to the material and again mix it properly with the help of big spoon. Mixing is very important to get the yummy taste.
  11.  Now, the last step. Add salt, water, chili powder, chopped coriander leaves and again mix it properly.
  12. Now put all the material in the puri and above add yogurt, tamarind chutney and green coriander chutney and Serve/Eat the SEV PURI.
