HOW TO MAKE DAL STICKS AT HOME
Ingredients for making dal sticks at home
- Udad dal or black gram flour 2 cups
- Chana dal flour or besan 2 cups
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Garlic pieces 1 tbsp
- Green chillies 4-5 chopped
- Jaljira powder 1/2 tbsp
- Chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
- Jeera Powder 1/2 tbsp
- Chat powder 1 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
Preparation for making dal sticks at home
- Take a bowl and take udad dal, besan, corn flour, grinded garlic pieces, chopped green chillies, jaljira powder, chilli powder, jeera powder and salt as taste and water as per requirement and mix it properly. Stir it very well.
- Now put kadai on the gas with oil in it and heat oil in medium flame.
- While oil is heating, make flour dough not of very big length but of medium size.
- After oil is heaten up put the flour dough in the oil and deep fry it.
- After draining excess oil in kadai and balance excess oil on tissue paper, sprinkle chat powder on it.
- Dal sticks can be eaten/serve with chutneys or sauce.
