HOW TO MAKE CORN PURI

Ingredients for Corn Puri
- Sweet Corn 3 Cups
- Wheat Flour 3 Cups
- Green Chillies 6-7
- Garlic 1-1/2 tbsp
- Besan 2-3 tbsp
- Fennel or Sounf or Sauf powder 1 Tbsp
- Coriander Powder 1-1/2 tbsp
- Jeera Powder 1-1/2 tbsp
- Chilli Powder 3/4 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp
- Hing Powder 1 pinch
- Cooking soda 3/4 tbsp
- Oil as per requirement
- Warm water as per requirement
- Bowl
Preparation of Corn Puri
- Grind Sweet corn 3 cups, chillies and garlic in mixer.
- Then take a big bowl and put the grinded material in it and add wheat flour 3 cups, besan 2-3 tbsp, hing 1 pinch, turmeric powder 1 tbsp, salt as per taste, oil 1 tbsp coriander powder 1-1/2 tbsp, jeera powder 1-1/2 tbsp, chilli powder 3/4 tbsp, fennel powder 1 tbsp and water as per requirement and mix it very well. mixing is a very important. - Dont' mix water in large quantity initially as corn will it self pour its water.
- After mixing, cover the dough for 15-20 minutes.
Making of Corn Puri
- Now keep kadai on the gas with oil in it in medium flame. Dont' heat the oil excessively.
- After oil gets heated make balls of the dough and if the balls are not smooth knead in it again.
- Now roll out the dogh in circle shape and put the rolled out dogh in kadai for deep frying.
- After the puris puffed up in the oil take it out from kadai and drain them well and keep it on tissue papers for excess draining.
- Continue the frying procedure with the rest of the dough.
YUMMIER AND TASTIER CORN PURIS ARE READY TO EAT/SERVE.
