PHODNICHI POLI
Phodnichi Poli is one of the favourite Maharashtra's veg snacks commonly eaten in every house.

Ingredients for making Phodnichi poli
- Left over Chapatis 7-8
- Oil 3 Tablespoons
- Peanuts 1/4 cup
- Mustard Seeds 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
- Green Chillies 3-4
- Onion 1 Medium
- Turmeric Powder 1/2 tbsp
- Chili Powder 1/4 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Sugar as per taste
- Asafoetida 1 pinch
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Kadai
- Spoon
- Grated Coconut
- Gas
Before Preparation of Phodnichi Poli
- Brake chapattis roughly in small pieces by hand or it can be done in mixer.
- Chop onion in to small pieces.
- Cut green chillies into medium pieces.
Preparation of Phodnichi Poli
- Keep kadai on the gas with oil in it in medium flame for heating.
- Add mustard seeds for checking whether oil is sufficiently heated.
- After mustard seeds start spluttering it is the sign that oil is sufficiently heated.
- Now add cumin seeds and asafoetida and also add onion to it and fry till the onion turns slightly into pink colour.
- Now add green chillies, turmeric powder, chilly powder, peanuts,curry leaves in the kadai.
- Now put all the braked chapattis in the kadai and stir it well.
- Cover the kadai for 2-3 minutes and after 2-3 minutes again stir the material in the kadai.
- Cover up the kdai again for 4-5 minutes.
- Now put off the gas.
- Hot and tasty Phodnichi Poli is ready.
